Seahawks Host the Bears on Monday Night Football After a Week of Blockbuster Trades
Seattle (4-3) meets Chicago (5-2) under the lights at Lumen Field, with new All-Pro guard Quenton Nelson in Seahawks colors and Jaxon Smith-Njigba leading the league in receiving.

Monday Night Football comes to Lumen Field with both teams arriving off a week that reshaped their lines. The Seattle Seahawks (4-3) host the Chicago Bears (5-2) at 5:15 p.m. Pacific on ESPN.
Seattle's move was the loudest of the week: the Seahawks acquired All-Pro guard Quenton Nelson from Indianapolis for a 2027 third-round pick and a 2028 fifth-round pick. Chicago answered in kind, landing All-Pro defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons from Tennessee — which sets up the night's central collision in the trenches.
The Seahawks come in with momentum. Last Sunday night they beat Kansas City 20-3, holding Patrick Mahomes to a season-low 165 passing yards and keeping the Chiefs out of the red zone entirely.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba remains the offense's headline: he leads the NFL in receiving yards (867) and touchdowns (8), and his 9-catch, 150-yard night against Kansas City was his sixth 100-yard game in seven outings.
Chicago will be without running back Kyle Monangai, ruled out Saturday with a toe injury — his fourth straight missed game. Seattle running back Zach Charbonnet is expected back, which gives the home team its full backfield for the primetime test.
